I've been watching Mandisa since years and I think she is wonderful. Props to her and all the Black Nonbelievers group, as well as to all the ex-Muslims. Their struggle is very real and I'm happy to see that atheists are starting to recognise them more and more. 👍

She is a heroine! The black population of Philadelphia County is 44%. Recently when a police officer was shot and in critical condition , The black police commissioner came on the TV and said 75 - 100 officers had gotten together and prayed with him for this officer and he was asking the public to pray for the officer. To me it seems like they are simply making themselves feel better by the act of praying.

Her father used to say that whenever he saw a big cross on a white church, the size of the cross was directly proportional to the use of the “n” word inside. Yes, Dr. King led with biblical inspiration, but slavers similarly used the bible to justify their unspeakable terrorism and treatment of black people as chattel possessions. well as a home owner your property tax goes to fund public school period. If your child goes to public school you are paying part of that through the property tax. I think its a right to have a say in which school. because if you choose private then someone elses kid will reap the benwfits of that property tax. With the voucher program you can use that credit which is yours toward your private tuition. It isnt even about religion its about what is the best education for your child. In these times it just might be private where there us 1 teacher to every 14 students.
